This was an ottoman admin building which later became Al-Sharqiya Secondary School (Al-Thanawiya Al-Sharqiya)
       
     Bash Tabya, the headquarters of Haj Hussein Pasha Al-Jalili during the siege of Mosul by Nadder Shah in 1756.
